Frequently Asked Questions

DefinitionsBasics
An accessible event is one in which people with special needs, including people with disabilities, can participate on an equal basis with others. This means not only removing barriers (e.g. organizing events in locations that are transport-accessible with parking), but above all planning the event in a universal and barrier-free way – from the planning stage, through communication and delivery, to the publication of materials after the event has concluded.
