Early Enrollment

What is early enrollment?

Early enrollment is a form of support for both students and doctoral candidates with special needs. It applies to enrollment in departmental and university-wide classes (i.e. sports classes, foreign languages). Lists of eligible individuals are sent directly by the Accessibility Department to the Faculties and the Language Center.

Who can participate in early enrollment?

Any student or doctoral candidate at PWr with special needs from the first semester of studies. This solution is also granted to confirmed candidates for Assistant positions.

Rules for Using Early Enrollment

Important Dates

The lists of people eligible for early registration are sent approximately 2-3 weeks before registration.

How long can I use the support?

The condition for using the support is having the status of a student/doctoral candidate and valid medical documentation. You only need to document your needs once during your studies, but if you start a new program, you must provide documentation again.

How often can I use the support?

Every academic semester.

Can I use the support during a dean's or health leave?

Yes. You can use the support during both dean's and health leaves.

How to Obtain Early Enrollment

Document your special needs with the Accessibility Department, e.g., disability certificate, certificate from a specialist doctor, psychologist's office, etc.
