Material Adaptation
What does the adaptation of educational materials involve?
The service involves adapting educational materials into formats accessible for individuals with sensory disabilities. Possible forms of adaptation include:
- Electronic versions compliant with WCAG standards (for individuals with visual impairments),
- Printed materials in enlarged font
- Materials in Braille
- Tactile graphics and tactile maps
- Audio recordings
- Subtitles and transcripts for video and audio materials
The adaptation can be one-time or cyclical (for the semester period).

Service Usage Rules
Important Dates
- Current educational materials – submission at least 3 business days before classes.
- Literature – submission at least 1 month in advance.
- Multimedia materials – a single video or audio file (up to 80 minutes) must be submitted at least 7 business days in advance.
- Adaptation for the beginning of studies – consultations can be held even before recruitment to ensure support from the first day of study.
If there are more materials, the implementation time is agreed upon individually.

- Individuals with hearing impairments
How long can I use the support?
Until the completion of studies.
How often can I use the support?
Rules are defined individually, depending on the needs and availability of specialists.
Can I use the support during a dean's leave or medical leave?
Yes, if courses are being held during the leave.
