Important Dates
To receive any form of support at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, you must, in accordance with the Study Regulations, report to the Accessibility Department with documents confirming special needs immediately after the reason arises.
Who can use the support?
- Individuals with medical documentation confirming special needs, including medical certificates, psychological opinions, diagnoses, hospital discharge summaries, or other relevant documents.
- All individuals with a disability certificate.
How long can I use the support?
For the entire duration of your studies.
How often can I use the support?
As needed.
Can I use the support during a dean’s leave or health leave?
Yes..
What are examples of support in the teaching process?
- Modification of assessment format (e.g., from oral to written or vice versa).
- Permission to take notes and complete assessments on a computer.
- Access to lecture notes provided by instructors.
- Use of a voice recorder during lectures.
- Extended time for exams and assessments.
- Extended deadlines for assessments/exams.
- Justification and alternative assessment methods in case of absences exceeding the allowed limit due to documented health issues.
- Use of noise-canceling headphones during classes.
- Permission for discreet, justified short or extended breaks during classes.
- Individual assessments (e.g., during consultations, in a separate room).
- Formal or informal individualization of the study program.
